If your machine is under warranty, please contact the manufacturer. Bringing it to me will void the warranty.

Does your sewing machine need some attention? Maybe a spa day to get all cleaned up, or maybe it is your Nana's machine and the needle won't move. Did you try to fix it yourself and things didn't exactly go as planned? Give me a call. I would like to help.

Do you want information on purchasing a machine?

If vintage machines intrigue you, if you are looking for that long lost sentimental machine, if you want advice on what to look for when buying a machine because you want a solid machine with metal gears that will outlive us all, or if you are ready to invest in that dream machine to complete your collection, give me a call or send me a message and we'll chat!I usually have machines available for purchase and/or I may know someone who has a machine that would be a good fit.

Do you have a machine that you don't know what to do with?

I rescue machines, just like the one sitting in the corner of your basement. I'll clean it up and help it find a new home. Local community organizations or your neighbor down the street may have contacted me looking for a machine just like yours to care for. Please don't set it out for junk day or drop it at a thrift shop where the pedal and accessories will get lost. Save me the trip.If you have a machine that you don't want to donate but you may want to sell send me the information and I'll take a look and may make you an offer or I may know someone that will make you an offer.Sewing should be affordable and machines prices are very subjective, so this is one way we can help each other and keep prices reasonable.

Hi, I'm Amy.I was taught to sew by 3 amazing women. My grandmother taught me to make Strawberry Shortcake Doll clothes, my best friend's mother taught me while we made my prom dress, and my Aunt was always welcoming and available to help me with home decor and Girl Scout projects. I continued to sew throughout college for extra income, but when I became a mother my machines took a back seat to life. The pandemic brought my machines out of storage. Since new machines were in short supply many people went to their basements and brought out their family machines too. It was during these years that my journey fixing vintage sewing machines began. In my search for machine schematics and resources I discovered an experienced technician that was providing in depth training. I joined her technician's group and never looked back. I have a wonderful community that understands the importance of these machines and a network of knowledge that I contribute to and draw upon.I accidentally started this business when we were home during a Spring Break. I posted a message on our local neighborhood site to see if anyone had a machine I could tinker with. The response was unexpected, and I closed the post after 200+ comments because it was overwhelming. I had no idea there was such a need for vintage machine services in our area.Inspired by a dream of having a little machine shop, I applied for a business license and opened No Scraps Left Behind LLC. This is my side business since I still have a day job (for now). I have future dreams to expand from a home based business to a business that includes a community sewing space. That is the short story on how I became a vintage sewing machine enthusiast. You'll have to contact me for the longer version (it involves a lot of amazing people and machines).Amy
